Collection: Dahlia tubers

Thank you for visiting our page on the world wide web! Please let us know if you have any questions at all.

The tuber shop will be open Friday, April 18th, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. EST until Friday April 25th at 11:59pm EST. We can combine orders and refund excess shipping; all orders will be shipped the week of April 27th, 2025.

Each product listing is for one dahlia tuber. Each tuber is guaranteed to be viable, have at least one eye, and be true to its listed variety. Many have already woken out of dormancy and have sprouted. A small amount of mold is possible on the tuber crown, just rub it off or use a Lysol wipe. Most tubers were dipped in cinnamon to prevent rot so the cut portions will be brown. Once you receive the tubers, please check them and email us photos and your concerns within 2 days if you have any concerns. After this time, we cannot be liable for how you store the tubers until you are ready to plant. By purchasing, you agree to these terms. We are extra careful while dividing, but if a named variety you have purchased grows as a different variety, please email us with photos by August 31st, 2025.

All tubers will come in a storage medium to prevent excess moisture during shipping. Please keep the tubers in a cool, dry location until it is time to plant for your area. They should not be allowed to endure a freeze. Continue checking them weekly until you are able to plant. They should not become dry and shriveled or too wet/humid which would lead to rot.

Once ready to plant in your area, dig a hole or trench 6" deep and place the tubers 1.5 - 2' apart horizontally with the eyes or sprouts facing up 1.5 - 2' apart. They do need some moisture to grow, so if it is hot and dry in your area, water them slightly but do not soak the soil. Once the sprouts have reached up past the surface of the soil, water as normal. Open centers are normal for the plants' first blooms and also during hot and dry weeks. Keep the area weed free, watered, and fertilized (at planting and once in the summer) for a brilliant blooming show all the way until frost!!

We hope you enjoy your dahlias this year, feel free to tag us on social media with your beautiful flowers, and happy growing!
